- Specific eligibility — not automatic with the Social Card
What you need to know
- Eligible groups include recipients of the low-income pensioner allowance or Guaranteed Minimum Income (GMI). Age or a Social Card alone is not enough.
- Apply online via the EAC portal or at an EAC customer service centre.
- EAC verifies eligibility in the government registry; EAC says no additional documents are needed if eligibility is registered.
- This is a special tariff, not a fixed percentage reduction on the entire bill.
